License to Access Content
When you enroll in a course, you receive a license from TeIM to view the content solely through our Services and for no other purpose. You may not transfer or resell the content in any way. We generally grant a lifetime access license, except when content must be disabled for legal or policy reasons. Under our Tutor’s Terms, tutors grant TeIM a license to sublicense their content to enrolled learners. Content is licensed, not sold, to you. You do not have the right to resell or redistribute the content in any manner, including sharing account information, downloading content illegally, or distributing it on external platforms.
TeIM grants you, as an enrolled learner, a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the content for which you have paid all required fees, solely for your personal, non-commercial, educational purposes through the Services, in accordance with these Terms and any associated restrictions. All other uses are expressly prohibited. You may not reproduce, redistribute, transmit, assign, sell, broadcast, rent, share, lend, modify, adapt, edit, create derivative works of, sublicense, or otherwise transfer or use any content unless given explicit permission in a written agreement signed by an authorized TeIM representative.
We reserve the right to revoke access to any content at any time if it must be disabled due to legal or policy reasons (for example, copyright violations). The lifetime access applies strictly to the course content, not to the tutor's ongoing support, as tutors may choose to cease offering direct assistance. Tutors may not grant licenses directly to students; any direct license between a tutor and a student is null and void and constitutes a violation of these Terms.
Payments, Pricing, and Refunds
When you make a purchase, you agree to use a valid, authorized payment method and authorize us to charge your credit/debit card or process alternative payment methods accordingly. TeIM works with payment service providers to keep your billing information secure. If your payment method fails but you still receive access to the course, you agree to pay the corresponding fees within thirty (30) days of notification from us. We reserve the right to disable access to any content for which full payment has not been received.
Tutors set the prices for their content in accordance with the Tutor's Terms. The applicable price is the price displayed at the time you complete your purchase.
If you are unsatisfied with a course, you may request a refund within five (5) days of purchase. Refunds will not be granted if requested after the 5-day guarantee period or if you have completed more than 30% of the course. However, if content is disabled for legal or policy reasons, or in cases of suspected or confirmed fraud associated with a tutor's account, you may be entitled to a refund beyond the 5-day limit. If we determine that you are abusing our refund policy (e.g., repeatedly requesting refunds for similar courses), we reserve the right to deny your request, restrict future refunds, or ban your account.
Risk of Use
TeIM provides a platform for tutors and learners to interact for educational purposes. We do not edit, vet, or guarantee the legality, accuracy, reliability, validity, or truthfulness of user-generated content. If you rely on course content, you do so entirely at your own risk.
By using our Services, you may be exposed to content that you find offensive or objectionable. To the extent permissible under applicable law, TeIM assumes no responsibility or liability for your access to or enrollment in any course. You accept full responsibility for your choices before, during, and after taking a course.
When interacting directly with other users, exercise caution regarding personal information. While we restrict the information tutors can request from learners, we do not control how users handle information once obtained. You should not share your email address or sensitive personal details with other users. TeIM does not employ tutors, nor are we liable for disputes, claims, losses, injuries, or damages arising out of the conduct of tutors or learners.
Our platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party sites.
TeIM's Rights
TeIM owns the platform, website, applications, logos, code, and content created by our service providers. These materials are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you the right to use the TeIM name, trademarks, logos, domain names, or other distinctive brand features. Any feedback, comments, or suggestions you submit regarding our Services are voluntary, and we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.
While accessing or using our Services, you agree not to:
Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the platform, computer systems, or technical delivery systems.
Disable, interfere with, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any security features or systems.
Copy, modify, reverse engineer, reverse assemble, or attempt to discover any source code or content on the platform.
Scrape, spider, use robots, or employ other automated means to access the Services.
Send altered, deceptive, or false source-identifying information (such as spoofing TeIM communications).
Interfere with or disrupt user, host, or network access (e.g., sending viruses, overloading, flooding, spamming, or mail-bombing).
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services and content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. TeIM and its affiliates, suppliers, partners, and agents express no representations or warranties about the suitability, reliability, availability, timeliness, security, or accuracy of the Services or content. We disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Your use of the Services is entirely at your own risk. We may modify or discontinue features at any time without liability.
We are not responsible for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as acts of war, natural disasters, utility or internet outages, or government restrictions.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend (if requested), and hold harmless TeIM, its partners, and agents from any third-party claims, demands, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:
Content you post or submit;
Your use of the Services;
Your violation of these Terms; or
Your violation of any third-party rights.
This obligation survives the termination of your account and use of the Services.
Legal Actions & Dispute Terms
No legal action arising out of or relating to this Agreement may be brought by either party more than one (1) year after the cause of action accrues, except where prohibited by law. All legal notices will be sent in writing via email.
Relationship Between TeIM and Users
No joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and TeIM.
Changes and Updates
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through prominent means, such as email or in-app notifications. Updates become effective on the date they are posted unless specified otherwise. Your continued use of the Services after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms, which supersede all previous versions.
Tutor Payment & Revenue Share
Tutors are paid per course enrollment once the standard 5-day student refund period lapses. Tutors must provide valid payout account details to receive funds.
Standard Payout Rate: Tutors receive a 60% share of the net course price set by the tutor.
Referral Code Payout Rate: When a learner enrolls using a tutor's referral code, the tutor receives a 90% share of the net price. Only referrals recorded by the system qualify.
Deductions & Adjustments: Revenue shares are subject to deductions for payment collection fees and transaction fees incurred during payout transfers. TeIM reserves the right to adjust revenue share percentages due to operational factors (e.g., changes in taxes or increased advertisement investment). Tutors will be notified via email or other communication channels at least 28 days before any changes to revenue shares take effect.
Relationship Between TeIM and Tutors
Tutors license their educational content to TeIM in exchange for a revenue share. TeIM does not treat them as employees, pay them a salary, or provide benefits. No joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and TeIM.
Fraudulent Accounts
Accounts created using false information or misrepresentations will be banned, and associated content will be removed. Banned accounts forfeit any pending payments or claims.
Copyright Violations
You warrant that all uploaded content is original or properly licensed and does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights. Content flagged for copyright infringement will be reviewed and may be removed, potentially leading to account termination.
Video Quality Standards
All uploaded video content must meet the following baseline technical standards:
Resolution: Minimum of 720p clear resolution.
Audio: Clear, audible, and uninterrupted voice quality.
Language: Taught in a clear, universal language (e.g., English) unless a course is a language course other than English.
Course Structure: Must include a complete course structure with an objective, outline, and detailed descriptions.
Consistency: Course material must align accurately with video titles and descriptions.
Instructional Quality: Concepts must be presented and illustrated clearly.
Account Banning Criteria
A tutor account may be suspended or permanently banned under the following conditions:
Obtaining an account through misrepresentation or fraud.
Uploading content subject to copyright infringement.
Publishing misleading, unlawful, or policy-violating content.
Prohibited Course Content
Tutors are strictly prohibited from publishing courses that:
Target minors or students at primary/secondary school levels (TeIM is strictly for users aged 18 and older).
Promote discrimination based on race, gender, ethnicity, religion, or any other protected class.
Demonstrate program cracking or unethical hacking practices.
Violate government rules, local regulations, or facilitate criminal acts.
Promote immoral behavior, explicit/indecent content, or financial scams ("get-rich-quick" schemes).
Direct students away from TeIM to purchase competing services on third-party websites.
