Course overview

Lumion is a powerful 3D modelling tool that is used by designers to do renders, which are images showing the end product of the model before the real work of construction begins. These renders help the designer and client be on the same page, since a client is attracted by the image of the render firsthand even before the design drawings.

This detailed course will guide the user on how to navigate the LUMION program to do renders. What are some of the things covered?

  • Navigating LUMION
  • Mouse operations and shortcuts
  • Camera settings
  • Video/Animation renders 
Requirements
  • Have basic knowledge of ARCHICAD, since the LUMION course will tackle rendering projects done in ARCHICAD
  • Have LUMION installed. If they cannot find a way to get LUMION, the tutor will provide it at an extra fee
  • Commitment to Practice – Dedication to apply lessons through exercises and projects and follow through diligently
  • Computer with Adequate Specs – A PC or laptop with a good graphics card
  • Stable Internet Connection – For software updates, resources, and online learning sessions
